Privacy Notice
This notice describes the information Congress Receipts and its service providers process when you visit the site or contact it.

1. Visit analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page performance. A small script reports the page address, the referring page, browser and device type, approximate country, and page-load timing. It does not set cookies, use browser storage, or fingerprint visitors, and it does not track you across other websites. The site uses these aggregate counts to see which records people read and whether pages load quickly.
2. Hosting and security
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives technical request information, such as your IP address, the requested address, and browser details, in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare processes this information under its own privacy policy, which also describes how long it keeps that data.
3. Information stored in your browser
If you choose a state in the homepage senator lookup, your browser remembers that choice so the lookup shows the same state on your next visit. The setting stays on your device, is never sent to the site, and is removed when you clear the selection or your browser's site data. Search, filtering, copying, downloading cards, and the native share sheet all run in your browser and send nothing to the site.
4. Share buttons and external links
Share buttons are plain links. No social-network script loads on the site, and nothing is sent to a social network unless you select one of its links. Once you follow a share button or a link to a source, the destination's own privacy practices apply.
5. Email
If you email Congress Receipts, it receives your email address, your message, and anything you attach, and uses them only to review and respond to your request. Published corrections never include a submitter's name, email address, or other personal information.
6. Your choices and requests
You can block the analytics script with a content blocker without losing any site feature. To ask about information held about you, or to request deletion of an email you sent, write to corrections@congressreceipts.com.
7. Changes to this notice
This notice will be updated before the site begins collecting any new kind of information. A revised version will identify its effective date on this page. The Terms of Use are a separate document.
